Manuel is a German-born, Spanish sports lawyer with Polish roots. As part of Parmars, a boutique sports law firm based in the United Kingdom and Spain, since 2019, Manuel has demonstrated a great capacity to treat cases of a varied nature, such as diverse FIFA RSTP claims, disciplinary matters, ethics and governance cases, labour law assistance or giving legal advice regarding football transfer. His natural interest in sports led him to successfully analyse issues of an extended list of sports like football, futsal, basketball, and esports, among many others.
This experience led Manuel to be part of several CAS matters. Further, Manuel is actively involved in organising ISDE’s Master in International Sports Law. He has been involved in legal issues concerning the 2019 FIFA World Cup and Germany’s bid to host the UEFA European Football Championship 2024. Manuel handles an extensive caseload representing Central and Eastern Asia players at FIFA and CAS.
In addition to his professional trajectory, Manuel has an admirable educational background. He finished his Law Degree at the Santiago de Compostela University with a notable final grade and two distinctions. To complete his academic development, he completed the International Sports Law Master at Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) and an Advocacy Master taught by Universidad Nacional de Educación a Diastancia. During this time, Manuel completed two internships, one at Lentze Stopper Rechtsanwaelte in Munich, Germany and another at the Spanish First and Second Instance Courts.
