After studying economics, Mr Wagner held positions at the T-Mobile Team (cycling) and HSV and the HSV foundation “Der Hamburger Weg,”. among other things. In 2016, Stefan furthered his training as a CSR manager. He then ventured into self-employment with a focus on strategy development and advice on the topic of sustainability for medium-sized companies in the district of Vechta and sports for Darmstadt 98, the Climate Arena, Bayer Leverkusen, VfL Osnabrück, the German Ice Hockey League, Adler Mannheim and the DFB, among others. He is the founder of “Sports for Future”.

At TSG Hoffenheim, he has been responsible for the corporate development department since 2018, in which sustainability is a central anchor.
