Amobi Ezeaku is the CEO of Rangers Int’l Football Club. He also heads the Sports and Entertainment Law at LEXSETTERS LLP, Nigeria.
With ten (10) years of Corporate Law practice, Football Governance, Law of Contractual and Intellectual Property, International Sports Arbitration and the FIFA Statutes of Laws, Mr Ezeaku advises football clubs on corporate and commercial issues and has represented over 20 clubs, primarily from Africa in the recovery of Solidarity and Training Compensation Payments at the FIFA RDC. Amobi is also experienced in the Court of Arbitration of Sports (CAS) proceedings.
Amobi is a FIFA Master – International MA in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport. He holds a UEFA Academy Certificate in Higher Education Football Management offered in collaboration with the University of Lausanne – UNIL. He possesses a Master of Law (LLM) in International Sports Arbitration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Abobi also serves as the president of the Green Foot Foundation Africa, which aims to improve the lives of talented amateur football players by providing cost-free legal/sporting services and education to Nigerian communities to empower economically disadvantaged people.
With sustainability at the core of his strategy, the enterprising and youthful executive is overseeing the transformation of the Enugu-based football club.
