Professor Durao is a co-founder of Delta Goal, a startup that uses artificial intelligence and data science to improve the performance of athletes and sports teams. He is also a professor and researcher at Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, where he teaches and develops projects in innovation, biodesign, and data science applied to health. He has more than seven years of experience in research and development, focusing on technological solutions to real problems.

His academic background includes a doctorate in production engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP, with a sandwich period at Technische Universität Darmstadt, in Germany, where I studied implementing digital twins in Industry 4.0. He also took leadership and growth courses at Harvard Business School and cloud computing and big data at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Additionally, he has participated in innovative international design projects in partnership with Stanford University, Aalto Design Factory and Trinity College Dublin. Luiz Durao’s mission is to improve people’s quality of life through technology and education.
