Tanja Ferkau is working in strategy and organizational development for international
companies and non-profit organizations for more than 25 years. She gained experience on the
corporate side in managerial positions (e.g. Formula 1), as marketing and sales director of
Europe ́s largest sports marketing company and managing director of a sports agency. 2004
she decided to build her own companies. Her idea to always support next generation is taken
care off since she is teaching at several German universities (starting 2005).
After more than a decade of pro bono work in sustainability and successful building of a large
NGO Tanja Ferkau founded the non-profit IMPCT gGmbH in 2017. IMPCT is an accelerator
for systemic change and social transformation. With that platform and her team she is
supporting & consulting several players in sport from strategy to reporting, from stakeholder
analysis to development of a sustainability standard such as DFL (German Football League).
