Marlon Glean is a transformative leader in international football, an Attorney-at-Law called to the Bar in both the United Kingdom and Grenada, and a passionate advocate for building sustainable, inclusive sports ecosystems in emerging regions. Currently serving as President of the Grenada Football Association (GFA), he brings to the role over two decades of global expertise spanning sports governance, international law, development finance, and strategic partnerships.

Under his leadership, the GFA has launched a bold agenda to reposition Grenada as a regional hub for football excellence, focused on youth development, commercial reform, and international cooperation. He sits on the Concacaf Football Development Committee, is a Board Member of the Grenada Tourism Authority, and was recently accepted into the prestigious UEFA MIP (Executive Master for International Players) — affirming his pursuit of continuous growth.

Before his election in 2022, President Glean served as FIFA’s Regional Development Manager for the Caribbean, where he oversaw football development across 22 countries. He led the implementation of the FIFA Forward Programme, managed compliance and risk, and worked closely with Heads of Government to elevate national football infrastructures. His tenure brought new levels of accountability, innovation, and collaboration to Caribbean football governance.

A former Grenada national team player, President Glean’s journey reflects a rare blend of on-field experience and off-field excellence. His career spans pivotal legal and leadership roles at institutions including General Electric (GE), UBS Financial Services, and the Government of Grenada, where he served as Legal Counsel to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Business. Recognised by the Mail & Guardian as one of South Africa’s Top 200 Young South Africans (2025): Sport, Tyrel holds a Sports Law Certificate from the University of Pretoria (2023) and is an accredited sports mediator. Dr. Frank Appiah Kusi is a Ph.D. holder in Sport Marketing from Philippine Christian University, Manila, Philippines.

Dr. Appiah Kusi started his career in Sports and Exercise Science from KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana, and was selected among the winners of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation Scholarship to study Master of Sport Administration at Russia International Olympic University, Sochi, Russia. He has seventeen publications in peer-reviewed journals and on the International Platform of Sport for Development to his credit, mainly on sport and football development and sponsorship and marketing in the Ghanaian context.

Appiah Kusi also holds certifications in FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, Safeguarding Essentials in Football, and Safeguarding Policy Implementation. He is an advocate for good governance practices in sport and actively engages clubs on effective marketing and governance structures.

He currently serves as President of CONIFA Africa, where he has overseen groundbreaking initiatives, including the first-ever CONIFA African Cup in South Africa and key international partnerships that position Africa as a rising force in alternative football governance.

Being the Pioneer President of Amputee Football in Cameroon, Ngala led the Cameroon national amputee football team to its maiden African Nations Cup appearance in Angola and organized the country’s first amputee football league. He also continues to play a continental role as Media Committee Member of the Confederation of African Amputee Football (CAAF), advancing visibility and opportunities for athletes with disabilities across Africa.

As the Cameroon/Africa ambassador of Sportyano, he champions grassroots development and youth empowerment through football. He also presides over Let’s Talk Football Club, a third-division team in Cameroon, where he drives talent development and competitive growth—earning recognition such as a bronze medal in the 2024 Bamenda Youth Cup.

A graduate of the University of Eldoret with a Bachelor’s in Tourism Management, he began his professional journey at Elagerini Athletic Agency, where he honed his skills in athlete and community engagement. He further applied this expertise by leading social media and outreach for the Kaptagat Forest Marathon and managing digital marketing for a range of clients across diverse industries.

Kiptoo’s deep commitment to football has defined much of his professional path. He contributed to club management with Strawburg Football Club and Eldoret Falcons before reaching a milestone as the Co-Founder and CEO of Eldoret FC. Under his leadership, the club has emerged as North Rift Champions and secured a three-year sponsorship—achievements that reflect his vision of combining football with education through strategic partnerships for holistic player development.

Olatoye serves as the Managing Partner of Sportflames Communications, the only Nigerian online multi-media platform that feeds over 10,000 readers and listeners daily with Nigerian news, stories, and topical issues both locally and in the diaspora. He was awarded the prestigious ‘Outreach Award’ from the Nigeria Soccer Federation, United States of America (NSF-USA) for his efforts in the development of grassroots football in Nigeria, as well as his initiative to distribute COVID-19 relief materials to about 400 grassroots players in Lagos, helping to cushion the effects of the pandemic-induced economic crisis on local athletes.
